In ancient Vietnamese times, rural countryside people had built their house with palm leaf weaving and bamboo tree.  Those were the coolest houses to live in during the hottest of summer days.  One could be built in a day or two but would be small.  The house has a short life lasting for one or two years because the leaf would be rotten.  People will rebuilt it over and over, never ending cycle.  However, I think that made the smallest impact on the environment. Over the time, people had invented a mixture of mud and hay to build a stronger house.  In two hundred years ago, the technique had been improving; people had invented brick and cement.  Since then, people have been building house with those material.  Today, Vietnamese architectures are working on a shred-floating house to guard against flooding.  One hundred years from now, there will be a vary sturdy floating house build out of material products that will only last one or two year, that will be a good impact for the nature.
